Michele Young

Owner + Stylist

Michele is an expert colorist and stylist, and has been for many years, before becoming salon owner in 2005. She loves when her clients are excited to be here and leave with smiles on their faces time and time and again. In addition to providing a relaxing space for her clients, she also provides a pleasant and safe work environment for her staff. When Michele is not styling hair or managing the salon, she is researching the best products for the salon to offer its clientele. The #1 Newbury Street South Salon value that aligns with Michele’s personal values is communication. She works to educate her clients on how to do their hair and what products will help them achieve the best results.

Lisa Eldredge

Stylist/Dr. Hauschka Certified Esthetician,

tECHNICAL mANAGER

Lisa is a certified colorist, specializing in Wella International and Aveda color. She has been with NSS since its beginning. Her passion is cutting hair, and she can perfect anything from long layers to blunt bobs. With her talent, vision, and willingness to listen, she makes clients look and feel their best. Lisa is also Dr. Hauschka Certified to help with your skin care needs. Her education includes Bumble & Bumble Haircutting Academy in NYC, and Toni & Guy Advanced Cutting in Boston.



George Pellegren

Stylist

Born and raised in Connecticut, George began his salon career in Hartford under the tutelage of Gervacio, an international guest artist for Redken. He made a few more stops before landing on Cape Cod, and lives in Yarmouthport. When not in the salon, he likes to fly fish, take pictures or nap.

Maggie Stanton

Stylist

Maggie got her GED a year and a half early in 2018 and a week later she started cosmetology night school at Cape Cod Technical School. She is originally from Weymouth Massachusetts but moved to the Cape when she was a teen. Maggies' specialty is color for which she has a passion. She does eyelash lifts and keratins and also specializes in curls. She loves animals and enjoys camping and all things outdoorsy.

Sheila Dongelewic

ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER

Sheila  joined us as part of our Desk Staff, and is now our Administrative Manager. She is originally from Saranac Lake NY, up in the Adirondacks. She also lived in the Capital District of NY for about 10 years before she and her husband moved to the Cape (after many vacations here, and even marrying on a beach in Dennis!). Sheila is a licensed Cosmetologist in NYS, having worked there for many years. She is a Master Colorist, as well as a Licensed  Instructor in Both Cosmetology and Aesthetics. She has worked at the Spa at the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid and was also the Spa Director of both the Lincoln and Roosevelt Baths and Spa in Saratoga Springs NY. Although she no longer chooses to work  on clients, she has always loved the beauty industry and greatly enjoys the salon environment.

Cassidy Parker

DESK ASSOCIATE

Cassidy can be found answering the phone, greeting clients and scheduling appointments. When not at the desk, she is assisting the stylists by ensuring there are always fresh towels, plenty of capes, as well as keeping the salon clean and tidy. Field hockey and tennis keep Cassidy busy afterschool. Her future after graduation includes attending University of New England followed by cosmetology studies. Cassidy unwinds by going to the beach with friends and watching sunsets.

Elaine Peluso - Farris

DESK ASSOCIATE

Elaine is the newest member of our Front Desk Staff! She joined us in August! She is a proud Native of the Cape. Raised in Eastham, she moved to Chatham after marrying her husband Bill and raised their children there. She now lives in historic Yarmouthport. When she is not working, she is busy running her dogs (Whiskey & Bourbon) on the bogs of the Cape.
